A Case of Rapid Spontaneous Resolution of an Acute Subdural Hematoma

Abstract

|
A patient is reported who had spontaneous resolution of an acute traumatic subdural hematoma within 24 hours. In this period, clinical signs improved and computed tomography suggested disappearance of hematoma. It is thoughir that the mechanism of resorption is co-existence of hematoma mingling with CSF and hematoma redistribution.
